Unlike more traditional poultry farms, Bendele provides their chickens with an area equivalent of 25 sq metres of pasture each, hand-reared and slaughtered on the property to reduce stress. As one of only a small percent of organic-certified poultry farms in Australia, we feel lucky to work with these farmers to provide your pet with the best meat available.  Bendele’s chicken meat, like muscle meat, organ meat and ground bone, is used in our Signature Blend and our House Lion Blend to add a protein source, as well as essential amino acids and glucosamine, which aids in bone health.  The other parts of these chickens which aren’t featured in our Bella and Boots packs or on our kitchen table are great snacks and treats for your pet. Especially Bendele’s non-GMO chickens, raw bones like feet or necks are great for dental health and can provide a lot of pure nutrients outside of normal mealtimes.  

Bendele Farm has been running for nearly two decades under Fred and Sarah, and has been recognised by our community for their dedication to producing high quality, delicious and ethical meat. In 2020, Bendele won the Harvey Norman’s Delicious produce awards, among other awards they have received in the past.
