Dog’s are peoples’ best friend, their companion, their baby. For some humans, dogs are their eyes, their freedom to move through the world. And eyesight isn’t just important for assistance dogs, but for regular every day dogs, too. Their sight allows them to play, cuddle, eat and stay safe. Some breeds like Labradors, Poodles, Cocker Spaniels and Australian Cattle Dogs are prone to vision problems, but blindness is possible in any breed. A dog can become blind from genetic diseases, injury, aging and nutrients deficiency. That’s right — the way you feed your pet matters!
