It’s not just meat in our Bella & Boots blends that nourish your playful pet! Leafy green matter and fibre are equally as important when formulating the best raw food pet blends.
In the wild dogs naturally forage grasses and bark. Our organic green leafy puree provides the roughage they need to sweep their colon clean of food residues, and provides beneficial nutrients, including cleansing chlorophyll and essential minerals. Not only does this promote a healthy gut but leafy greens also help to fight infection, heal wounds and build your pets immune system to a strong and healthy state.
As you already know, at Bella & Boots we are mindful of where we source all of our ingredients! Only the best for our furry friends! So when sourcing fresh organic produce we of course went with local produce farmers Mick Dan and Kelly Burton from Good Harvest.
Mick and Kelly are passionate about growing quality organic food. They grow, pick, pack and deliver their organic produce from their farm at Woombye to your table (or pet food bowl). Working within the seasons, Good Harvest compliments our blends with quality organic produce.
The Good Harvest team is made up of some of the most passionate and experienced farmers on the sunshine coast. What’s great about the farming network on the Sunshine Coast is the support and collaboration. This means that every farmer can bring their strengths to deliver a variety of quality products.
Mick will tell you that the secret is in the soil. Which is why he has chosen to develop his certified organic farm in Woombye. Mick and his team are in control from propagation, to harvest, to the consumer. Creating and simplifying the ultimate paddock to plate experience.
All produce on Mick and Kelly’s farm is of course grown without the use of chemicals such as pesticides and artificial fertilisers. Giving their products the organic certified tick of approval. Farmers harvest before sunrise to ensure freshness and quality. Allowing us to include the same in our Bella & Boots products.
