Peanut Butter Doggie Biscuits
There's nothing quite like the novel enjoyment of feeding your pet a little baked treat, like peanut butter dog biscuits. You can feed your pet a delicious, cute and healthy pet treat with peanut butter, almond flour, honey and an egg.
Start with 2 1/2 cups almond flour (other gluten free flours, or healthier versions like wholewheat flour also work) and combine with one egg. Add 1 cup of peanut butter, 2 tablespoons of honey and one mashed banana. The banana adds flavour and nutritional value, such as potassium, fibre and vitamin C. Alternatively, one cup of water, or bone broth/ chicken stock can replace the banana, for a different flavour and nutritional value. Combine until it resembles a cookie dough. Roll out the dough onto a floured surface into 1/2 inch thick slab, then use a cookie cutter to cut out the biscuits. Dog bone biscuit cutters are cute, but any similar sized shape will work. Bake in a 180 degree oven for 15-20 minutes. Keep an eye out for your biscuits, as different shapes or varied thickness account for different cooking times.
Once the biscuits are firm and cooled, you can feed to your pet as a delicious, baked treat.
