A family favourite: The Cobberdog

Ridgy Didge Cobberdogs is an ethically run, local Sunshine Coast breeder. It is run by Robyn and Greg, a couple who have been involved with dogs and other animals their whole lives. They started out with German Shepherds before looking to find something a bit easier to maintain. Despite the loyal and loveable nature of German Shepherds, Robyn and Greg wanted to find a dog breed that was easier to care for as they got older. 

Enter Cobberdogs.  

                                                             

Cobberdogs are a hidden gem breed in Australia that have beautiful, lucious coats in varying shades of brown, gold and blonde. On top of being handsome, their coats are low-shedding and allergy friendly. They’re ideal for families with young children or the elderly due to their laidback and gentle nature. Originally bred for medical alert and service jobs, these dogs go above and beyond loyalty. As family pets, they bring a special care and willingness to connect that’s unique to this breed!  Being bred with the guidance of Master Dog Breeders and Associates and going above and beyond the Queensland State and Local Government Legislation, Regulations and Codes of Practice for welfare, keeping, breeding, management and sales of dogs.
